there are no native installers for ubuntu jaunty. you need to install from source. I found a nice shell script that does all the steps.

  2. Have you looked into installing from the Monoxide repository?
    https://launchpad.net/~directhex/+archive/monoxid
    Might be easier for some, but I don't know if there are stability problems

  3. All it did for me was download a bunch of stuff and then complain about monodoc not being available.

  4. how to run this script? I saved this on Desktop and cd into Desktop and gave command like this

    sudo ./install-mono-2.4

    it says command not found . Please help . I am using ubuntu jaunty.
