Installing mono 2.4 on unbuntu jaunty

there are no native installers for ubuntu jaunty. you need to install from source. I found a nice shell script that does all the steps.

    https://launchpad.net/~directhex/+archive/monoxid...
    Might be easier for some, but I don't know if there are stability problems

  5. All it did for me was download a bunch of stuff and then complain about monodoc not being available.

  7. how to run this script? I saved this on Desktop and cd into Desktop and gave command like this

    sudo ./install-mono-2.4

    it says command not found . Please help . I am using ubuntu jaunty.
