Finding talented developers is always a challenge and in the current economic climate many developers are holding off moving to a new position. As such, contract houses are submitting any available candidates for every position. This practice is not only another reason to avoid contracting shops but is rather taxing on the company looking to fill a position. Your freaking me out

Someone brought it to my attention that this was right about the time I took a new job. The numbers however tell a more interestig story. There were close to 400 referrers from google searches using my name as a keyword. Even single employee of GISi would have had to google me 5 times. This month the top search keyword that brings people to my blog is “eric polerecky” That’s all I got.

UPDATED: Back to work! Bye Bye Pinggr

I wanted to learn how to use facebook connect and ended up using FBC, Twitter, OpenID, some complex htaccess, got sick enough by the process (not having a PHP MVC framework to call my own) that I started on php.technologyaces.com I have code that won’t write itself… Also, I decided to dump the simple framework…I think Code Igniter is simple enough. I don’t have time to play developer…I am in need of cracking stuff out quick!

Outside Prospective

Often times its hard to see someone else’s prospective, especially when it relates to how they see you. I was recently afforded the clarity of another’s prospective I don’t think EVERYONE hates you.
